Installation, maintenance, and repair of loading dock equipment as well as other related industrial equipment (dock levelers, restraints, seals, shelters, bumpers, industrial racking, shelving, stretch wrappers, pneumatic tube systems, conveyors, balers, high speed doors, traffic doors, and other related equipment).
This position requires experience welding and working with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Prior experience in the repair or installation of industrial equipment is preferred but we are willing to train someone with a solid mechanical aptitude. Selected candidate must be able to work independently or with a small team in a field environment. Good customer service skills. This position requires the ability to work outdoors, and at heights. As this position requires driving a company vehicle, a pre-employment drug test and good driving record are required.

We are seeking candidates to perform the following job duties, including but not limited to: Maintain and repair various types of LP, electric, and diesel forklifts and related equipment by: performing preventative maintenance; analyzing, diagnosing and troubleshooting repairs; clearly communicating to customer recommended repairs needed to resolve equipment performance; inspecting and test equipment to ensure all safety devices are in proper working order; accurately & thoroughly complete required tasks, collect customer signatures, and ensure assignments are turned in promptly; maintain & operate service vehicle in a clean, orderly and hazard-free manner; observe all safety procedures; and follow company policies.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently, and will provide superior customer service with a positive and friendly attitude.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, Basic skills in operating personal computers, Prior experience repairing forklifts and heavy equipment highly desired, but not required for entry-level technicians, Ability to safely operate power tools, lifts, hoists,hydraulic jacks, and overhead cranes. Possess and maintain valid driver’s license with good driving record. Good written and oral communication skills. Effectively communicate & interact positively with customers, co-workers, and management. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
